Funky Flavor Music Guest Mix Vol. 104

Funky Flavor shows All Out in motion. Twenty-eight entries run from Louder Than Bombs to Fast N’ Loud: originals, Cortex returns, remixes and pieces still carrying working names. It is a portrait of the project through the producer’s own work, where earlier music keeps changing beside the new.

By the time Linda B published it in March 2023, All Out had a long connection with the radio programme. The Breakbeat Show had presented the whole Psycho Breaks in 2016, followed by guest programmes in 2017 and 2019. This mix returned to a place where the project’s music had received sustained attention.

Different parts of the mix belong to different periods. Get Bogged Down and Mankind Is The Program bring the pressure of later events; Estrella Fugaz retains a listener’s shared discovery. Madskillz / Kimosabe, Satan, Walk About and I Know continue attachments to BT, Orbital and Hybrid. Weight, melody and the pleasure of revisiting favourite material coexist.

The instrumental Hold On, alternative Agony and A Fractal Space versions and several IDs keep the programme open. Albums are finished; work with the music is not. Funky Flavor shows a recognisable personal world whose boundaries the producer still wants to move.
