Knowing a group does not end with its best-known albums. For this unofficial version, All Out chose the opening track of The Future Sound of London’s From The Archives Vol. 1, originally spelled Lizzard Crawl. The archive became the source of new work, not simply a reason to return to the familiar.

The remix belongs to the Psycho Breaks circle. Bring, another less obvious FSOL choice suggested by a listener, sits elsewhere in the catalogue. The two approaches began differently, but share an interest in what lies beyond the usual set of titles.

Lizard Crawl remains a separate response to a particular composition. What matters here is the depth of that curiosity: a much-loved musical world is not limited to its main entrances, and sometimes a less obvious track is the one that invites original work.
