All Out's first Projection, working with a Machine Code track from one of the producer's longstanding points of interest in heavier electronic music.
About the remix
Some tracks remain part of a producer’s listening life for years: selected, replayed and revisited before an answer is attempted. Projection was one of those for All Out. Machine Code’s original appeared on Othercide in 2016 and returned in his listening in both 2018 and 2020.
The attachment to Current Value and Dean Rodell’s project began earlier still. Their music appeared in All Out’s DJ selections beside Broken Note and his own early tracks. His production choices gradually developed within that world of heavy electronics.
The first unofficial Projection remix was already in development in 2024. Another reading followed in 2025, but this page retains the first: the moment a long listening relationship turned into action. Familiarity with the original did not end. It acquired another form.
