About the remix
Fluke were part of All Out’s DJ world well before the later showcases. Setback already appeared in a November 2011 selection beside The Chemical Brothers, Lunatic Calm and The Crystal Method. The producer’s unofficial version grew within that continuing attachment to nineties electronic music.
Set Back entered the first Linda B guest mix in 2017 and later Sound System Aberration S01E04. The remix returned to the records beside which the producer was used to hearing it. Studio work and DJ selection sustained the same connection from different sides.
There is no abrupt turn in this story, only a long presence: music stays close, receives a personal reading and finds a place in another programme. Set Back preserves the steadiness of a taste that does not stop at listening and still prompts new work.
