Psycho Club Mix

Five familiar themes gather for a different dance floor. The Ravers, I Choose Noise, Music For Rituals, Into The Storm and Hot Damn run as a continuous programme here, while the 2016 Psycho Club EP leaves them as individual versions.

The club reworkings grew from an ambition to bring the music to a wider audience and possible performances together. Frank Mockery’s vocalist provided feedback while All Out revisited debut themes between house and breaks. The mix itself was presented with a Techno tag.

The original performance plans did not materialise, but the idea remains as a complete musical programme. The club versions can be heard together here. The mix retains a sense of anticipation: familiar music changed for a life that had not yet happened, preserving part of that possibility within it.
