Sound System Aberration S3E4 ft. Amritone

Amritone, also known as Parallax Breakz, arrived in Sound System Aberration with a connection to All Out already in place. It included a The Ravers remix and an attentive Motor Cortex Stimulation review, appreciating its emotional maximalism while wishing some brief tracks would allow a longer stay. In January 2024, the conversation took a new form: two independent programmes.

All Out builds his programme through an introduction, main selection, outro and a small afterword. Adriatique and Gesaffelstein & The Hacker lead towards KREAM, Habstrakt, Spencer Brown & Mat Zo, Gorgon City, IMANU and Dom Dolla. DEAS, LSD, Keith Carnal and Dubfire appear later, followed after the outro by The Ravers in its Club Mix. The producer’s club interests unfold in more detail than a single original could allow.

Amritone responds with twelve tracks and remixes of his own. Artifact, Sundial, Link, Void, Nuke and Suppressing Passion meet work on Calligraphy’s Gravity Lensing and Polar Lights. Artifact EP had appeared in December 2023, shortly before the programme.

The guest had previously offered a reading of an All Out theme and a response to an album. Now he has the opportunity to tell the story of his own music. The exchange continues through mutual attention: one opens his collection, the other the music he makes himself.
