About the remix
Even as All Out takes Falling into an electronic, drum-and-bass form, the vocal keeps it closely connected to Frank Mockery’s song. An attachment to heavy music becomes collaborative work: the source can be approached from inside the exchange, rather than only through repeated listening.
An instrumental version sits beside it. Together they preserve two perspectives on the same work, with and without the band’s voice at the centre. Neither cancels the other; only the listener’s point of contact with the familiar material changes.
Unlike Nedoromantic, which continued into Music For Rituals, Falling remains a separate remix story. Its significance lies in this early exchange between All Out and Frank Mockery. Other work would follow, but this song does not need to become their preface to have a place of its own.
