Frank Mockery - Nedoromantic (All Out Remix)
An early All Out / Frank Mockery meeting with a future beyond the remix. Nedoromantic joins Environments and the history behind Music For Rituals.
About the remix
Before Music For Rituals came Nedoromantic, a Frank Mockery song that All Out began reworking. The vocal version appeared on Environments in 2013; the instrumental later found a place on Fringe. The band’s voice remains in the former, keeping the connection to the source song close.
That connection proved more fruitful than a single remix. Further work led to Music For Rituals on the 2016 Psycho Breaks and then to its Club and Cortex forms. Outside material had provided an impulse for a long original line.
Nedoromantic preserves the beginning of this story. Both sides of the musical exchange are still present, and the connection to Frank Mockery’s song remains clear. The future theme continues the story without diminishing the independent meaning or voice of the earlier collaboration.
