About the remix
In a musical friendship, the direction of the work sometimes changes. Ivan Louchkin had already worked on Electric Mesmerise and Not Quite My Tempo; now All Out took on his Louhan 13 Hands. After several encounters around All Out themes, there was an opportunity to return the exchange.
The official remix appeared on Dik Sam in October 2021. The release places versions by All Out and Dr. Twist beside the original, Hong Kong and Arktor. The work became part of an Ivan Louchkin release, another point in a shared history that began well before that date.
An exchange like this needs no grand mythology. Trust, familiarity with each other’s music and the pleasure of continuing the conversation are already there. This time, the participants have changed places.
